Darkstarwood is correct. Ibogaine is BAD for opiate addictions. It tends to cause severe psychotic reactions in opiate users. That’s not what those of us who are ‘in the loop’ would call ‘therapeutic.’

Ibogaine is not a cure-all, but it does provide a precious window of opportunity to allow you to change your life and habits without cravings, and with a deepened understanding of the nature of your addiction. The current US scheduling of ibogaine makes no sense- it has little to no recreational/abuse potential due to the side effects and long duration, and immense therapeutic possibilities for addictions of all kinds.

there used to be a …
there used to be a ibogaine treatment center here in vancouver funded and started by marc emery, it ran for about a year before it ran out of funding, but while it was active it help MANY hardcore meth and heroin and alcohole addicts.

Though, after the Ibogaine treatment wears off. there is the inherent tendency to relapse into old behavioral patterns The soul needs to arrive at the next level of higher intelligence, whereby there are no chemical dependencies.
