body takes its own time to eliminate anything.. even drugs…. frankly only time is the most important factor..
i think u shud make it thru…
i doubt drinking "cleanser" can help… such stuff is mostly a gimmick…
and secondly.. body eliminates very few things in urine in u think of it as fluids
take vitamins supplements containing antioxidants .. like spirullina ..that ll improve bodys function to eliminate the stuff.. and do some jogging that too helps
all the best
I have spent countless hours on the internet and phone talking to counselors. The only thing I got out of it is that he can go to a local outpatient rehab for free(which he has been forced to do and it doesn't work) or an inpatient rehab for thousands of dollars a month. We don't have that kind of money. I don't know what to do. He is tearing our family apart and making our lives hell. He has got so many people after him that I am afraid something bad is going to happen to him. He is not in his right mind as he is drugged up so much right now. He has been to jail once and immediately got beat up. I am afraid if he is in there again he will get it worse this time. I don't know where to turn for help anymore and I don't know what to do to help him. If something happens to him I will always wonder if I could have done more to help him.
As a former junkie myself, I can tell you he won't accept help from anyone until he is ready. That usually means he has to hit bottom, and get to a point where his drug use is no longer worth it to him. Some people have very low 'bottom's' though, I know I did, and it takes longer for them to realize it.
There are no cheap rehab centers. The one I tried to get myself into charged about $1000 a day, and it was the only one around here. Yeah right. So I had to get into tons of legal trouble, lose my car and house, half my family, before I had to get clean by myself.
A real important thing is to not let anyone give a hand to your brother. No one can lend him cash, give him the car, drive him anywhere, whatever he could do to get drugs. It's just allowing things to go on as they are when you do that. I know it's hard, but the best thing you can do is tell him you are there for him when he needs to talk, but offer nothing else. Tell him you won't stand by and watch him die. If he's that far gone, he just needs to come around on his own.
Good luck to you and your family.
My son went through drug rehab one year ago and is doing great. He has not relapsed at all and has set some quality goals for his life and is pursuing them. He is only 21 years old and is currently in vocational training and cannot afford his own medical insurance at this point in time, but I would like to provide that for him. Does anyone know if he's eligible since he has a history of drug abuse?
healthplans.my-age.net – here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.
I need to know more about alcohol rehabs and treatment programs because my sister is an alcohol dependent. I really want to get her treated as soon as possible. My parents, who are away, already know about this. They said that I should try to find an alcohol rehab that I think will really be able to take care of my sister.
I think it would be good if you can take your sister to a doctor first. The doctor will then be able to tell what kind of treatment program would be right for your sister as well as the alcohol rehabs that have this kind of program. A lot of programs, though, are stemmed from A.A.'s 12-step program. The links below will give you lists of alcohol rehabs in the area you have specified. Just call them and inquire. Good luck! I really hope your sister gets well soon.
We've always been close and it never occurred to me that she might someday get addicted to alcohol. She was always the one who shied away from the "bad" stuff. Now she regrets having succumbed to the throes of alcoholism. She's asking for my help in finding the right addiction treatment center for her. How will I do this?
You can use the links below to find addiction treatment centers for her. Inquire about their treatment programs and methods used before you choose one. However, it's still advisable to make your cousin go to a doctor to get herself checked up. The doctor will at least get to assess her situation and tell her what will be best for her to do. I do hope that she gets treated soon. Good luck!
I need to make my own apllication for admintance and hope there is a tutorial to help me build one
Having volunteered at treatment centers and psychiatric circles for many years, the intake documents – even blank – are highly confidential.
But … you know the internet. Could be there is one out there. The usual term is "intake assessment".
an inpatient stays in the center whereas a outpatient goes home and returns for treatment

My sister's just recently admitted to herself that she does have a problem regarding her alcohol consumption. I now have her consent to put her in an alcohol rehab. Any ideas on how to find the right one for her?
You should peruse through the yellow pages. You'll surely find a list there of the alcohol rehabs near your home. Call each one and inquire about the treatment methods, medication, etc. Getting recommendations from a doctor or healthcare provider is also a good way of finding an alcohol rehab. Good luck, and I hope your sister recovers soon!
